    ‘Reservoir Dogs’ actor Michael Madsen dies at age 67

    Michael Madsen died on Thursday morning from cardiac arrest. He was 67.

    Los Angeles sheriff revealed to NBC Los Angeles that the American actor died of natural causes, specifically cardiac arrest. There are no suspicions of foul play.

    His manager Ron Smith revealed that the actor was quite driven by work the past few years.

    “In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent films including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life,” his managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said.

    “Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, currently being edited,” Smith revealed.

    The actor began his career in 1982 and gained recognition for WarGames (1983). He became a regular collaborator with Quentin Tarantino, appearing in Reservoir Dogs (1992), Kill Bill, The Hateful Eight (2015), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).

    Madsen’s other film credits include Thelma & Louise, Donnie Brasco, Die Another Day, and Sin City. He also appeared in numerous TV shows and voiced characters in several major video games.
