Friedman, 29, appeared in five games with the Canucks this season before this trade, posting zero points, six hits, and a minus-4 rating. This is after he had one assist and a plus-4 rating in 23 games with the Canucks last season.

Friedman has spent the majority of this in the AHL, recording one goal and six points in 20 games with the Abbotsford Canucks.
