The Arizona Cardinals have their final preseason game this weekend. They take on the Las Vegas Raiders from State Farm Stadium with a 7 p.m. local time kickoff (10 p.m. ET). It is the final game of the preseason in the entire NFL.
As both teams have large offseason rosters, it is no surprise that both teams have players who spent time with the other in their NFL careers.
The Cardinals have three former Raiders on their team, while the Raiders have one former Cardinals player.
The Cardinals have two players on their roster another on PUP who are former Raiders. The Raiders’ one former Cardinal is on the roster.
WR Zay Jones
Jones, entering his second season with the Cardinals, is poised to be the team’s No. 3 receiver. After entering the NFL in 2017 with the Buffalo Bills, he was traded to the Raiders in 2019 and played for them through 2021. He had 81 catches for 847 yards and two touchdowns with the Raiders.
DL Bilal Nichols
Nichols is currently on the PUP list with a neck injury he suffered last season in Week 6.
He played for the Raiders in 2023-2024 before he signed a three-year deal with the Cardinals last offseason. He had 92 tackles and three sacks in 34 games (all starts) in two seasons.
LB Mykal Walker
In his first season with the Cardinals, Walker was on the Raiders’ practice squad for part of the 2023 season.
DL Leki Fotu
Fotu is in his first season with the Raiders. He played four seasons for the Cardinals from 2020-2023 after they drafted him in the fourth round. Last season he was with the NEw York Jets and signed this past offseason with Las Vegas.
